The Design Challenge

Jonah Special School wants to refresh its logo while keeping it similar to the original, which was designed by a student and is special to the school. The new logo should look cleaner and more modern but still feel friendly, inclusive, and child-focused.

This brand identity was undertaken as a work experience project.

About

Jonah Special School caters for students with Autism and Complex Needs.  The school was originally set up in 2002 by a group of parents who felt their children deserved intensive individualised instruction to enable each student to reach their full potential.  The school was funded as a ‘pilot’ project for a number of years and recently received full recognition from the Department of Education.
